Post NetBSD + silicon raid card
I have 2 sata hard drives connected through a sata-pci adapter, not in raid, that I'm trying to mount with fuse-ntfs-3g. They are both ntfs. I get this error every time I try and mount them.

#ntfs-3g /dev/wd1a /mnt/driveone
Error opening partition device: Device not configured
Failed to mount '/dev/rwd1a': Device not configured
You seem to have a SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware and must use an activated,
different device under /dev/mapper/, (e.g. /dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1)
to mount NTFS. Please see the 'dmraid' documentation for help.

The device /dev/wd1a doesn't exist/configured. Try other device or configure it, e.g. load the needed kernel drivers, active the device, etc. It depends on the OS how this can be done.

Dmraid is Linux specific and it's a bogus hint in your case.
