I just create symlink on /usr/local/modules/fuse.ko to /boot/modules/ and check it use command:
su
kldload fuse.ko
No errors messages :(

If not then you must create the fuse device file. Your problem seems to be PC-BSD specific.
This problem fonds if You installed PC-BSD 7.0.1. I try check this system? and downgrade it up to PC-BSD 7.0: on this system autors remove very meny pakeges? but added MUI for KDE 4.1.2. But, I must installed removed pakeges (~200) and 296 my work pakeges! Is very long time. :D
