Hi,

I would like to install ntfs-3g-2010.10.2 on OpenSolaris but there is no pre-packaged version available and the installation instructions in the source are only for Linux.
How should I proceed ? I'm kind of new in this OpenSolaris world on x86/x64

I have not used OpenSolaris myself, but according to reports received on this list, the process is the same as on Linux :
- download the tarball ntfs-3g-2010.10.2.tgz into a work directory
- decompress and unpack it (tar -xvfz ntfs-3g-2010.10.2.tgz)
- cd to ntfs-3g-2010.10.2
- configure (./configure)
- make
- make install (this step has to be done as root).

I have seen reports about a bad fuse version, and bad option -c in install. They may be obsolete. Try the above, and report what happens.
