 unable to mount EXT LBA (NTFS) using NTFS-3g (Solaris 10)
Hello, I have 2 ntfs (~30 Gb and ~160 Gb) partition in second hdd (c0d1). 0. c0d0 <DEFAULT cyl 4862 alt 2 hd 255 sec 63> /pci@0,0/pci-ide@6/ide@0/cmdk@0,0 1. c0d1 <drive type unknown> /pci@0,0/pci-ide@6/ide@0/cmdk@1,0
Total disk size is 24321 cylinders Cylinder size is 16065 (512 byte) blocks Cylinders Partition Status Type Start End Length % ========= ====== ============ ===== === ====== === 1 Active IFS: NTFS 0 3823 3824 16 2 EXT LBA 3824 24320 20497 84
First of partitions (1 Active IFS: NTFS ) mounting without some problems. (ntfs-3g /dev/dsk/c0d1p1 /export/windows)
But with second i have some troubles =(
# ntfs-3g /dev/dsk/c0d1p2 /export/d NTFS signature is missing. Failed to mount '/devices/pci@0,0/pci-ide@6/ide@0/cmdk@1,0:s': Invalid argument The device '/devices/pci@0,0/pci-ide@6/ide@0/cmdk@1,0:s' doesn't seem to have a valid NTFS. Maybe the wrong device is used? Or the whole disk instead of a partition (e.g. /dev/sda, not /dev/sda1)? Or the other way around?
How can i mount second (EXT LBA) partition? For mounting i use ntfs-3g-2009.4.4 p.s. with FSWfsmisc FSWpart, partition c0d1p2 is mounting. thanks
