Size limit for drives mounted on OpenSolaris with NTFS-3G
Hi,
I'm new to OpenSolaris so please excuse my ignorance. I have installed OPenSolaris and added NTFS-3G to convert data over from a Vista system. One of my Directories was about 300GB in size. After mounting the partition with NTFS-3G it does allow me to read the directory however it is limited to the first 32GB in alphabetical order. Am I missing something somewhere? How do I retrieve the remaining data?
Thanks for helping a Newby
Regards
Ralf

I've had another look at some other directories on the drive and found other large directories map fine, eg I can map a 44GB dir with 9000 files. The one I'm having issues with has about 360GB with 44,000 files.
Regards
Ralf

Hi,
The driver was tested with 54 million files in a single directory on Linux. Your problem sounds like an issue in Sun's FUSE implementation. Please submit this bug report to them at http://opensolaris.org/os/project/fuse/
