I successfully NTFS formatted a drive on my Mac using Tuxera. I copied some files to it and then I shared the drive with a Windows user who put some files on it for me. Now I get it back on my Mac it won't mount. The repair method you recommend isn't available to me since I don't have access to a Windows computer. Is there a way to fix mount problems on a Mac?

It seems useless to have this forum if Tuxera is not going to reply to calls for help. I've had problems with mounting before and fixed it but didn't send myself an email with the solution and am having issues again.

What good is the software if it doesn't reliably do the job it's supposed to do?
