i´m using ntfs-3g and osxfuse with homebrew on macos 10.9.2. i´m not sure exactly when my problems started, but i think maybe the last ntfs-3g-update or the macos-update is causing the problems because i installed them at the same time.. reinstalling of osxfuse and ntfs-3g (kernel-extension-unloading etc.), rebooting are not helping.
what´s the problem? every time i insert an usb-stick with ntfs it´s mounting properly and creates a directory in /Volumes. but after unmounting, the directory is still there and so it creates a new one next time i´m plugging the usb-stick in with a growing number added to the devicename. after unmounting the device i have two directories /Volumes, three after the next and so on. the only solution is to manually delete the remaining directory in /Volumes.
