NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a
SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows
then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very
important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate
it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.
/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation

Hi,

Quote:
ls -l /lib/modules/2.6.14.7-tiny1 /kernel/fs/fuse

You have inserted an extra space before /kernel, please retry with
Code:
ls -l /lib/modules/2.6.14.7-tiny1/kernel/fs/fuse

Quote:
#dd if=/dev/sda1 count=1 | head -c 11 | tail -c 8
NTFS 1+0 records in

Ok.

Hi,

Hi, i'm now added fs/fuse directory...

But you were not supposed to do so.

What this means is that fuse is (probably) not available on your system. Moreover you are using kernel 2.6.14 which is the first one which had fuse integrated, with known issues.

If you can upgrade your kernel, that would be the best thing to do.

If you cannot upgrade, first check how fuse was configured. To do so check the output of
Code:
grep CONFIG_FUSE_FS /lib/modules/2.6.14.7-tiny1/build/.config

If you get "CONFIG_FUSE_FS=y", then there is a different issue to be investigated.

If you get "CONFIG_FUSE_FS=m", you have to locate the fuse source and compile it.

If you do not get anything (or you get something else), you have to recompile the kernel.

Now, you have another issue :
Quote:
#ntfsfix /dev/sda1
Failed to determine whether /dev/sda1 is mounted: No such file or directory
Mounting volume... Index block size 0 is invalid.

This does not rely on fuse, so either there is also something wrong with your device, or ntfs-3g is badly compiled. Has your device been checked by chkdsk ? Maybe you first try :
Code:
ntfsinfo -fm /dev/sda1
