Post NTFS-3G and VMware - experiences?
I've been searching on how NTFS-3G performs with virtual machines that run on VMware, and I just wanted to see the most personal of experiences with using NTFS-3G to access VMs stored on an NTFS drive.

As you have read, I store my VMware machines onto an NTFS hard drive and I've used Tuxera NTFS on my Mac OS X install. However there doesn't seem to be a consumer-oriented equivalent for Linux, so NTFS-3G would be my currently only option, but I'm not sure if it's worth it because of performance in VMware.

I have no personal experience with vmware. I use virtualbox to run virtual machines off ntfs-3g, and they perform quite well. This might depend on what your virtual machine is doing.
